Collect Requirements and spell out the deliverables
The Project Planning Phase is often the most challenging phase for any development project manager, as we find in many circumstances the need to make an educated guess of the budget, staffing, resources and equipment needed to complete your project. We take into account the need to plan our communications and procurement activities, as well as contract any 3rd party suppliers, in order to meet our deliverable list. This phase is also responsible for the phrase “Unknown, Unknowns”, which is a dilemma that many projects face, especially for Start Ups that are looking to maximize their investments and save all possible costs.
In short, we create a comprehensive suite of project plans which set out a clear project roadmap:
Project Plan > Create a Resource Plan > Financial Plan > Create a Quality Plan > Risk Plan > Create a Acceptance Plan > Communications Plan > Procurement Plan > Contracting Suppliers > then finally we Perform a Phase Review.
