The Project Initiation Phase is the 1st phase in the Project Management Life Cycle, as it involves starting up a new project. We start a new project by defining its objectives, scope, purpose and deliverable list to be produced. Is this a Website? Mobile App? Back end Server system? Social or Search Marketing? Whatever the project, we build your project team, setup the framework and review the project to gain approval to begin the next phase. There are factors at play that Gallant will consider, such as the budget and requirement factors as well as our own expert judgement which need to be inputted into the project scope. Learn More
The Project Planning Phase is the second phase in the project life cycle. It involves creating of a set of plans to help guide our development team through the execution and closure phases of the project. Are we building a mobile app? A website? A bridge between systems? The plans created during this phase will helps to manage time, cost, quality, change, risk and issues. They help manage staff and external suppliers, to ensure that we deliver the project on time and within budget. Learn More
The Project Execution Phase is the third phase in the project life cycle. In this phase, we develop the actual web/mobile/software project deliverables and present them to the customer for eventual sign-off. The Project Execution Phase is usually the longest phase in our project life cycle and typically consumes the most energy and the most resources. Development on Web and Mobile platforms are sometimes easier to show progress on than back end and cloud based systems. These processes help to manage time, cost, quality, change, risks and customer acceptance and communications. Learn More
The Monitoring & Controlling Phase is the third phase in the project life cycle. The project manager and the project team must work to continually revisit the design, planning and implementation of the project to confirm they are valid and to determine whether corrective actions need to be taken when the project’s performance deviates significantly from its design and its plan. This is the purpose of the Project Monitoring, Evaluation and Control Phase. Learn More
The Completion Phase is the final phase in the project life cycle. Unlike a continuous process, a project has a beginning and an end. This phase is often overlooked, but is an important task that ends the project and releases the project team from further obligation. Projects may end when all objectives are met or at the request of the client, senior management or project leader.Learn More
